Denver Beats Lakers In Game 2
Led by Carmelo Anthony’s 34 points and 9 rebounds, the Denver Nuggets beat the LA Lakers last night 106-103. The win, in Los Angeles, tied the Western Conference Finals best of 7 series at one game apiece.
The series now moves to Denver for Game 3.

Peavy Rejects Trade With White Sox
San Diego Padre ace Jake Peavy Thursday exercised his “no trade clause” and rejected the trade that would have sent him to the Chicago White Sox.
